Welcome to the sunshine of LA

DE: Lange war es ruhig hier, aber jetzt bin ich zurück, bepackt mit abenteuerlichen Geschichten und schönen Fotos aus Los Angeles.

EN: Long time no see! The last couple of days I was in LA and let me tell you - there are a lot of pictures and stories ahead of you:) 

Der Grund, warum ich ein paar Tage nach LA gereist bin, war nicht das Wetter und die Wärme, sondern meine Cousine und ihre Familie. Sie bekam in diesem Jahr ein Baby und diesen kleinen Mann musste ich natürlich unbedingt besuchen:) 

Aber bevor ich meine Geschichten auspacke (und es gibt einiges zu erzählen, nachdem ich in LA den Bus benutzt habe), zeige ich euch zuerst ein paar Fotos vom ersten Tag. Wir sind zu einem wunderschönen Aussichtspunkt namens Griffith Park gefahren und haben dort den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Entschuldigt die Qualität, ich hab die Fotos mit dem Handy gemacht.

The reason that I went to LA was primarily not the sun and the heat, it was my cousin and her family. They got a baby this year and for sure, I wanted to see that handsome little guy. So before I tell you all my stories (omg there are some real stories - I used the bus in LA, that's all I have to say;)), I want to show you some beautiful shots from my first day in the city. Sorry fir the quality of the phone pictures.

We went to Griffith observatory - a beautiful view point.

Danach besuchten wir den City Walk, einer von den Universal Studios kreirte Stadt. Dort haben wir unglaublich gut gegessen im Bubba Gump Shrimp. Na, kommt euch der Name bekannt vor? Ja genau Forest Gump. Ich hab diese Parallele erst jetzt bemerkt und hab mich nur ab den vielen Forrest Gump Bildern im Restaurant erfreut (und gewundert) :))

After we went to City Walk, a small town constructed by the Universal studios. We had a delicious dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp (which I just realized right now that it is from Forest Gump. I was wondering why there are so many Forrest Gump pictures;)).

Ich will mein ganzes Pulver natürlich nicht im ersten LA-Post schon verschiessen, darum ist hier auch schon genug. Aber bleibt dran, there is more to come:)
